• Discovering and evaluating new business opportunities.
• Gathering evidence, data and research to answer buyers' bid questions.
• Understanding the procedure and any associated rules that the bid must follow.
• Presenting technical information in a way that is easy to understand.
• Briefing team members on any relevant bids and their responsibilities, as well as reviewing their internal submissions.
• Designing, writing, editing and checking bid documents.
• Submitting bids in a timely manner, ensuring that all requirements are fully met.

• Prior experience within the renewable/sustainable energy industry is essential.
• Familiarity with the use of procurement portals.
• Preferably holds a university degree of written nature.
• Displays a high level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office.
• Displays a strong attention to detail.
• Displays the flexibility and adaptability that is essential for an entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Skilled in research, as well as reading and understanding large quantities of text.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to balance competing priorities.
• Ability to establish effective and cooperative working partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to make decisions independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Displays a proactive attitude and ability to use initiative.
