Gamma Energy has been established in the UK for 9 years and belongs to the Diggia Group. We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Executive to join our team as we grow our UK business.
Area/Department description
Diggia are an international engineering group who provide a suite of services over a range of renewable energy assets; in particular electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ground mounted and rooftop commercial scale and utility scale solar PV, energy efficiency improvements and battery technology.

Since 2002, we have developed different projects at a global level helping companies and public administrations with innovative, sustainable and human solutions and services. Your mission
  • Support with the implementation of the department’s strategy across the UK region.
  • Liaise with project managers on a regular basis to assess the needs of the UK projects.
  • Actively source new suppliers and negotiate any associated purchasing conditions.
  • Assist with the preparation of new purchase offers and contracts.
  • Assist with the analysis and approval of comparative purchases.
  • Assist with the review and approval of purchase documents in accordance with project requirements.
  • Oversee daily communication with suppliers and relevant stakeholders, ensuring positive working partnerships are maintained.
  • Conduct internal reviews of purchasing conditions with relevant departments across the Group.
  • Coordinate the internal administrative management of all purchase documentation.
  • Report on the status of projects and department matters to the Purchasing Manager.
Your profile
  • Previous experience with UK distributors of electrical materials or installers is essential.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and logistics management.
  • Ability to collaborate with departments and stakeholders across the Diggia Group.
  • Displays curiosity and creativity when proposing ideas and solutions.
  • Displays a proactive attitude and ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in order to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills.
  • Displays a high level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office.
